Welcome to Consult2k20.com ("Site," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of our Site.

This Site is operated by Local Computerized Services, LLC. Questions? Contact us at: info@localcomputerizedservices.net.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account registration: name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way encrypted hash — we never store your plain-text password).
  • SPOT Screening Application: your name, city/state, email, phone, and detailed responses about your background, goals, and readiness for the SPOT Initiative.
  • SPOT Scheduling: your name, email, phone, and preferred call date/time.
  • SPOT Full Application: your name, email, phone, home-office confirmation, and background information.
  • SPOT Participant Agreement: your typed legal name (as your electronic signature), email, and — as part of the audit trail required for an electronic signature to be enforceable — the IP address and timestamp of your signature.
  • Corporate Consulting requests: your name, email, company information, and a description of what you need help with.
  • Community forum posts: any content you post in the Pool of Players community, visible to other enrolled SPOT participants (not the general public).
  • Payment information: when you make a payment, details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications: messages or inquiries you send to us, including through the Contact form.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visit, referring URL.
  • Cookies: session cookies necessary for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising tracking cookies.
  • Usage data: features used and pages visited — used only to improve the Site.

C. Information from Third Parties

  • Stripe: when you make a payment, Stripe shares with us a customer identifier, payment status, and the last four digits of your card. Stripe's own privacy policy governs their data practices: stripe.com/privacy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Evaluate SPOT Screening and Full Applications, schedule introductory calls, and administer the SPOT Initiative.
  • Process and maintain a record of your SPOT Participant Agreement electronic signature, as required for enforceability under the U.S. ESIGN Act.
  • Process Corporate Consulting requests and payments for consulting engagements and SPOT royalties.
  • Operate the member/team dashboard and the Pool of Players community forum.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, application/scheduling confirmations, payment receipts). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
  • Respond to your questions and support requests.
  • Monitor for and address fraudulent, abusive, or policy-violating activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising.

4. How We Share Your Information

A. Content Visible to Other Participants

  • Content you post in the Pool of Players community forum is visible to other enrolled SPOT participants (not the general public). Your display name is shown alongside your posts.

B. Service Providers

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and, for affiliates, Stripe Connect payouts.
  • Neon / PostgreSQL cloud hosting — database storage for your account and submitted data.
  • Vercel, Inc. — web hosting and delivery of the Site.

C. Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or protect the safety of our users or others.

D. Business Transfers. If Consult2k20.com or Local Computerized Services, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent Site notice of any such change in ownership.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and submitted content for as long as your account is active or as needed to administer the SPOT Initiative or a consulting engagement, including for the term of any signed Participant Agreement and applicable statutes of limitation. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal account data within 30 days, subject to information we're required to retain for legal or accounting purposes. Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and correction: you may access and update your account information at any time via your account settings.
  • Deletion: you may request deletion of your account by contacting info@localcomputerizedservices.net.
  • Opt-out: you may opt out of non-transactional emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
  • California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information.
  • EU/EEA residents (GDPR): you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and the right to object. Contact info@localcomputerizedservices.net to exercise these rights.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, including encrypted password storage (bcrypt), HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit, and access controls. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

SPOT Initiative participation requires participants to be at least 18 years of age. The Site generally is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that a submission was made by someone who does not meet the required age, we will remove that information.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies (session authentication tokens required to log in). We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. Disabling cookies in your browser will prevent you from logging in to the Site.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated effective date, and where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
